Interesting Fact(s):    Chamberlain won the Congressional Medal of Honor, for gallantry on the battlefield.  He fought 24 engagements in the eastern theater.  After the war, he became president, of his alma mater, Bowdoin College.  He would receive fame, for his defense, of Little Round Top, at the Battle of Gettysburg.
